Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. This is an example of covalent bonding, with the two double bonds each formed by two shared electron pairs, each pair consisting of an electron from each atom. The outer electron shell of each atom is shown as a blue ring. Carbon dioxide is a gas at room temperature and pressure. The bonds are not shown here.
