Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Colon goblet cells. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of a biopsy from a child's colon (large intestine) showing a crypt of Lieberkuhn, a large pit in the intestinal wall. Within the crypt are mucus-secreting goblet cells (green). The colon starts at the small intestine and ends at the rectum. The main function of the large intestine is to reabsorb water from the faeces. Magnification x1,500 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
