I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

The forest of pines
stands straight and tall
at the edge of the lake,
the last light and shadow
of evening casting a glow
into the cool clean water.
The hillside is aglow in light,
the distant mountains
calling to the night
as the pine trees stand
together in a forest
of deep contrasts,
their trunks dark silhouettes
against the last light at sunset...
