The structure shown here is the unit cell, with cations (positive ions) and anions (negative ions). The ions are colour-coded calcium (blue, 2+ cation), titanium (pink, 4+ cation), oxygen (yellow, 2- anion). The pseudocubic crystals crystallize in the orthorhombic system. Physical properties include superconductivity, magneto-resistance, ionic conductivity, and dielectric properties.
