I painted several paintings along this trail at Nyack Beach State Park in Nyack, NY. The trail runs along the West Bank of the Hudson River at the base of the Palisades. It's a beautiful place to walk, bike and run and has many scenic spots along the way where I could stop and paint and not be in people's way.

Phyllis Tarlow has been working professionally as an artist since the mid-1980's. After working as an illustrator, she gradually turning toward portraiture and fine art. Increasingly, oil landscapes and animal paintings have become the central focus of Phyllis's work. She paints en plein air and in her Hartsdale, NY, studio.
