I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

About Alanna Hug-McAnnally
Thank you so much for visiting my site. It's been an unusual journey on my way to painting. Due to an illness when I was 40 - over 2 decades ago - I had to quit working. One day I went to a large mall and was happily surprised by an art show/competition. While looking at all the paintings (about 1,000 in all), I was drawn to one particular artist. It turned out she was the teacher to 1/2 of the artists there. Having told her I was degreed in opera and concert, she immediately told me: "If you are in one of the arts, you are in all of them." That turned out to be true, and it turned out I could paint. Since then, I have been in jurried competitions, came in second in my first and first in my second. One is now in a museum, a gift...

Dawn, thank you so much for taking the time to send such a lovely comment about my little painting done so many years ago. A best friend's grandmother was full-blooded Cherokee, and a healer. It was my friend who got me started in painting SW Native American paintings. We lived in AZ for some time and enjoyed it very much. Your home sounds lovely, and we too lived in a log home - already made. PHEW :D Again, thank you. :D

Jane, coming from you - a true artist - this has made my day, week, etc. Thank you so very much. I've been teaching as usual, and our student, juried competition comes up in March. As always, it will be a lot of fun. And, for a change, I've been painting. So hopefully some new ones will be on my site. Thank you again, Jane. You always inspire those around you.

Alanna, This is wonderful. The sky, the pots, the figure of the Native American lady in her beautiful clothing, the whole mesa view, I could go on and on.... i have always loved Southwestern themes ever since I visited Sedona. I would comment more on your other splendid works, but my computer is running very slowing and it took a long time just to get "here". I am thankful for your appreciation of my paintings and collages. It is great to hear from you. (Getting computer repaiired on Monday....Looking forward to that so I can return to write more comments. Your admirer always, Anne F/V

Anne - I really thought I had replied to you already. Mea Culpa! I truly consider your comments as prizes as you are such a wonderful artist. This was one of my first Native American paintings and it was so much fun. Later I did a mural on two walls at a friend's house in this style. Oh - my aching back! lol But it came out as I'd hoped. Thank you again for your truly lovely comments. I always appreciate them. Hope your computer works now! Alanna

I J T - your lovely comments on my 1980's painting are most appreciated. This one was inspired by a friend who's grandmother was full-blooded Cherokee who was a healer. Although this is of another area of native Americans, it was she who gave me the desire to try Native American painting. Your comments have made my day! Thank you so much. I do so admire your work.

Hello Alanna, just visited each of your paintings. You have a beautiful and varied selection. The flowers and fruits are a delight whether they are whimsical fun or more serious works. I did not think I would know where to start commenting. But I started at the back and when I got to this I knew it was my top favourite for today! Any one could be top favourite for another day.I'm not consistent!!! I just love the dusky pinks, the dreamy mood, the sacred space. I love also the larger than life pots to add so charmingly to the Native American theme.Very lovely work! Fascinating "profile", Great gallery! v/f
