146 'Roaring Bug' is included in the Colorfield Car Art Series, Just Line Series, and the Art Deco Series. This massive 1929 Bugatti
Coupe was photographed by the artist at the Frist Museum in Nashville TN, during their Art Deco Exhibition. Over a dozen amazing and rare examples of the finest era of automotive design were on display. The massive curved grille was instantly recognizable, and the array of headlights on the fender shone the way into the dark night. This painting has been selected for the cover of one of our e-books for sale on our website. A loose abstract interpretation is utilized to accent the strong decorative shapes of the design.
This 14x14 smoothly blended painting was created in the Camp Sawdust Studios in Red Bank TN.
