HI John, Congratulations on your Featured Image on WFS : )

Thank you Randy for featuring my photo of this great classic car on the home page of the group, Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery and also thank you for all your kind compliments

A real beauty, John, and one of my fave colors, as had a Concorde this color, but rather it have been the 1971 Challenger. What a fine piece of artwork for me to proudly display on our Featured Artwork section of our Homepage, within our family of friends and fine artists, in our Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group. It is truly an honor to showcase your talents and beautiful artworks within our site, as our members get more promotion than in most groups, as I change out our Featured Artworks section 20 to 30 images at a time, and almost on a daily basis. I also change out our Top FEATURED artists weekly. I am proud to display this fine piece of beauty you have created for us to enjoy and share with others. LIKED and FAVED Forever, Elvis

Wow factor on this memorable shot, John! Had one just like it, and I called it my "Purple Passion", and glad I got rid of it, as at my age, I have little passion, and am starting to turn purple! lol Love this car, and baby, with the 383 in it, it screamed traffic tickets! lol Thanks much for the wonderful memories, John, as I no longer have pictures of this one or my 66 "Cuda"! fave and vote

John Telfer replied:

Artist's Description

FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES At a weekly classic car show that is held every Tuesday in Oyster Bay, New York located on the north shore of Long Island. Collectors, dealers and just regular people looking to get a glimpse of some classic cars converge on the small town of Oyster Bay where they close off the main street and line up 100's of classic cars. At the end of the main road I photographed this 1971 Challenger from an angle showing the front grill and part of the side of the car, with that beautiful purple finish to it. This car looked like it had just rolled off of the assembly line, excellent condition from the interior to the exterior. Every Tuesday night, starting in May, is the Oyster Bay Cruise Night. It's free and there's classic cars, hot rods and some bikes. There's live music. The Main St is closed off and everyone comes out to see the cars and enjoy the town's pubs and restaurants. Take Rte 106 North all the way down into the town of O.B. and...

About John Telfer

John Telfer

My name is John Telfer, my love for photography began when I was about 7 years old and tried to duplicate the action photos I saw in Sports Illustrated. Photography for me since then has become more then a hobby but a passion that I truly enjoy. My art work is not only visible on my web site but at various photography exhibits I have had the opportunity to display my photography work at. My work includes such themes as scenery, wildlife, flowers, city shots, urban, people, fishing and classic cars. There is something in my galleries for everyone. All of my photos would look good hanging on a wall and would make a pleasant gift for a family member or friend or as a gift to your Doctor, Dentist, Lawyer, Barber or family businessman for...
