The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This artwork series is based upon vintage US patent drawings of ingenious and notable inventions, in this case, a 1973 Space Suit Patent developed for NASA. This is excellent artwork for a sci-fi, outer space or science lover. (This patent artwork also available in a variety of styles.)
