Artist's Description

This is a very textural work showcasing a circa 1910 asian parasol I bought in Singapore. I used a grid like composition and added other Asian elementsfrom design to antique coins to complete this study. I used acrylics, crackle medium and gels to create a very old ,weathered appearance.
