House on Fire ruin is one of the most interesting of the ancient ruins that I have visited. The rock shelf above the alcove dwellling actually appears to be on fire. Light and shadow on the rock, along with the texture of the rock, give forth this unusual appearance. This is one of the many gems that Utah has to offer to the explorer and the photographer alike.
