The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Artist's Description
Morning glory pollen grain. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of a pollen grain from a morning glory flower (Ipomoea sp.). The grain has a highly sculptured outer wall (exine), which may assist in its dispersal by improving its adherence to pollinating insects. The characteristic surface of a pollen grain is used by botanists to recognise and classify plants. Each pollen grain contains a male gamete (reproductive cell) that is intended to fertilise an egg or ovule (female gamete), and initiate the formation of a seed for a new plant.
