This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.

OWLS HEAD LIGHTHOUSE
West Penobscot Bay & Rockland Harbor, ME
This is one of two lighthouses at the entrance to Rockland Harbor. Owls head is atop a headland on the outside of the harbor and Rockland Breakwater is on an .8 mile breakwater closer to the city. Owls head is only 20 feet tall, but high enough above the water that anything taller would be a waste of building material. President John Quincy Adams authorized the construction of a light at this site in 1825 and a fourth order lens was installed in 1856. There is ample parking and the climb to the tower is well worth the effort to see the view.

I have also written a number of articles published by regional magazines in both Maryland and New Jersey. I sell and lease images to publishers.
