This is amazing. So many things come to mind when I look at it. It's emotional, scary, beautiful, mysterious. Great Job -Voted

Melissa, your talent with a pencil is simply breath-taking! This piece is surrealism at its edgiest. This creature is blond with delicate female features exageratedly large dark deep eyes and so so kissable lips. Sensual almost seductively so and yet somewhat intimidating even frightening at the same time. This queen is not entirely and perhaps not at all human beyond that which is obviously similar. She is-- at least in part-- mechanical-- prehaps she is entirely mechanical. What drips from her lips? Is it machine oil or... blood.. her blood or ours? The mechanics of her thought process apparently depend upon ratcheting gears and spindles and levers and cams and rails and followers. Her eyes-- vaguely focused upon the observer-- can these be windows to her soul? Does she have a soul? Do these eyes ever shut to rest, to dream, to weep, to escape into darkness from this weerying world? Her throat is open revealing still more machinery the function of which is what? Swallowing, breathing, speaking... singing? Has she the heart for that? Is this near nightmare amalgam of stereotypical female sexual traits and and mindless cold steel the dream woman for many an immature male a sort of Stepford Wife? Is she the parody of popular culture's numerous vamps? Is she the the inevitable and appalling result of human bio-technological engineering taken to the extreme? I do not know but this do know-- here is stunning artwork using only a pencil!!! Wow!!! V

Melissa, This drawing does what any photo or painting or drawing is supposed to do it grabs you and makes you have to look at it and then you can't turn away. Fantastic detail and very dramatic. Love it. VOTED
