This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

In the sixties I saw for the first time the work of Victor Vasarely, the father of the optic art, in museum Fondation Maeght in Saint Paul de Vence in the South of France. Now I make works , inspired by Vasarely. After my retirement I visited the flower park De Keukenhof year after year to make flowers of tulips.
