Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Trachea lining. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of the lining of the trachea (windpipe). The trachea links the larynx (voice box) to the lungs. Its lining contains mucus- secreting goblet cells (white) and epithelial cells bearing hair-like cilia (pink). The goblet cells are covered with short microvilli. The mucus serves to trap tiny particles in inhaled air, whilst the movement of the cilia moves the mucus and foreign particles upwards out of the respiratory tract, helping to keep the lungs and airways clear. Magnification x3900 when printed 10cm wide.
