4 Hearts Bridge is a colorful watercolor which is a 'play on words'. 4 Hearts is a Contract in the popular card game of Bridge. The 4 hearts in the painting suggest a bridge spaning the rainbow canyon in the backround.

Linda Deater

I was born in Miami, Florida and moved to North Florida in 1980. In 1981 I opened my studio Rainbow's End in Live Oak Florida. In 1982 I added a storefront and began selling quality art supples and Custom Picture Framing. I received my Associate in Fine Art Degree in Fine Art from Miami-Dade Community College in 1978. I was introduced to acrylics there but in 1980 I switched to oil painting. In 1983 I started watercolor which eventually led to mixed media In 1988 I attended Lively Vo-Tech in Tallahassee, Florida to study Commercial Art.
