Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About JC Findley
A little about me: I was raised a military brat and lived all around the US growing up. I went to Auburn University then joined the Air Force upon graduation. In the Air Force I flew B-1B bombers, T-37 and T-38 trainers, KC-135s and taught counter terrorism CQC defensive tactics for aircrews. I retired from the Air National Guard after 21 years of service. I was also an airline pilot for Midwest Airlines where I flew DC-9s, MD-80s and Boing 717s. All of Midwest's flight-crews were outsourced in 2008 and now I make my living selling art and various other jobs in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I had a 427 Corvette so I guess I am semi-qualified to comment on this terrific photo. The strong horizontal lines that begin to diminish off to the left, to me, suggest the powerful acceleration that Chevy's mighty Big Block can deliver. It was amusing back in the day to see GM stating its engine as delivered "was 425 horsepower" when most knowledgeable people knew it was knocking on the 500 hp door. Yazzah!
