Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The island was and remains a wildlife preserve that serves as a rookery for thousands of sea birds, most notably the Laysan Albatross. While at Midway, Jim assisted a team of Department of Interior biologists in a project to tag Hawaiian monk seals and sea turtles, and introduce some Laysan finches from another Pacific island to Pearl and Hermes Reef. College life, work, and parenthood took Jim away from photography until 2003 when he began experimenting with his first digital camera. A fisherman most of his life, it was only natural that he would be drawn...

What an awesome shot. How did you find out about diving to the left?
Jim Gray replied:
I read it on the internet, so it must be true :-)
