Artist's Description
This watercolor still life painting features a saddle and saddle blanket slung over a huge wooden beam in a peaceful country barn on a warm sleepy September afternoon. A mother cat sleeps on the beam while two of her kittens sleep cuddled in the brim of a cowboy hat and a third sleeps near a leather glove on the hay bale. The gentle smell of fresh hay fills the air. A picture of serenity on the farm.

About Hanne Lore Koehler

Born in Aachen, Germany, I grew up in Ontario, Canada, where I still live with my husband (the love of my life) and family, from which comes the inspiration for much of my work.
