The season is almost over in the Midwest for the Sunflowers. Majestic flowers who follow the sun and hold their heads up in ecstasy in their youth, look like they are in pure agony as they fade. There is still beauty in them, though, that I hope I captured in this digital painting of two Sunflowers in various stages of their lives.

This morning I saw these #morning #glories climbing along a deck stairway peeking over a fence, and they were so #glorious that I knew it was my shot.
