This was the first in a fairly large series of pieces that I have done over the past few years that features the stylized trees and a geometric abstract foreground. This piece seems a bit spookier than the ones that followed, full of uncertainty but enticing at the same time, like much of life. This particular image has FAR more hits than any of the other over 300 images on my main site. This will be the first time that it is available as a giclee print. The original recycled, dimensional mixed media material always has the ripped edges, which will represent as a giclee by the irregular shape surrounded by the white background.

I have been a producing artist for over 30 years, starting out as a potter/sculptor back in my native Michigan. I now paint, work with mixed media, and a bit of photography. . .and now and then, a little clay! I have become known primarily for my work in a dimensional, recycled mixed media w/acrylic, and all of my originals are also available as prints and as cards. Joining Fine Arts America has led me to pull out some of my old images, and to find a renewed interest and pleasure in the techniques and styles that I have passed through over the past few years.
