The Aalstroemeria flower symbolizes friendship and devotion, and the twists in the flower symbolize the trials and tribulations of friendships. Commonly called the Peruvian Lily, Lily of the Incas or Parrot Lily the alstroemeria flower is a South American genus of about 50 species of flowering plants, mainly from the cool mountainous regions in the Andes.
