This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

Colorized from a black and white - 1925
I will admit I don't know who pretty much anyone in this picture, except for that little girl in lavender. That girl is my grandmother. And I'm not sure what side of the family this is from, but they all have their unique look don't they? The lady in the middle, has that nice homey look, like she bakes pies or something. One of her talents seems to be holding very still, she's the sharpest of the bunch. Old cameras took a long time to take a picture.
