Rings � circles in which circus acts are presented. The center ring was about 42 feet; it was also bigger and heavier made because that is where most of the animal acts worked. It was made strong enough that the horses could walk on it. The side or end rings were about 36 feet and not made as heavy.

Naomi Richmond is an award winning artist, she was recently widowed, and now lives with her Miniature Poodle, Dandy Lil Man Buddy. They reside in northern California. Naomi is 63 years old and a retired middle school teacher. She taught US History, Algebra I, and Beginning Watercolors to 8th graders (the fun age). Naomi is a self-taught artist and is part of a long line of artists, stretching from her great-great grandfather to her great-grandson. A long line that includes her parents, three sisters, three sons, several granddaughters, her grandsons and many cousins.
