The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
Hyde St, bellingen at sunrise on a winters morning. The two buildings are built in the art deco style of that era. The nearest building was the Commonwealth bank but now a publishing company. The next is the Memorial Hall (Main hall for entertainmant in the town.) then the next is tucked behind the hall and not visable. The next one is the Uniting Church which has a small square steeple. I have used the word 'Paradise' as most residents of the town and its area believe we live in a very beautiful part of NSW Australia.
About Carol McLagan
Most of my life I have had a pencil in my hand drawing the world around me and dreaming of painting images like my Great Grandfather did. I was exposed to his work at a very early age when visiting my much loved Grandmother and now have one hanging in my own home. I continued with sketching and drawing right through my school years and teachers college. Once teaching I put my drawing skills to use in the class room and loved art lessons with my students. I joined an art Group when I was in my early 20s for a couple of years but moved house and just continued to dabble in oils for a few more year. My art was moved aside whilst my husband and I raised our 3 sons and I also worked part time. Once the boys left home I took watercolour...
