The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Covering much of Montana, Wyoming, and the western halves of North and South Dakota, this map of the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers was based on the 1859-60 expedition of Capt. W.F. Raynolds and 1st Lieut. H.E. Maynadier to the region. The map shows some features of present-day Yellowstone National Park, including Yellowstone Falls and Yellowstone Lake. Coloring on the map indicates various geologic regions.
