About Carolyn Valcourt
Hi everyone. I have been a horse artist since I was a little girl. I grew up in New England near a horse farm and by the time I was 18 I finally owned my first horse. Drawing saddlebreds and morgans as a youngster has changed to the western horses I draw now. I love quarter horses and paints. Currently our family has three quarter horses and a pony. I credit my talent to God and give him all the glory in all I do. I hope you enjoy my artwork. I am currently a retired fourth grade teacher and hope to draw more than horses.I am beginning to draw cats and dogs as well as some other animals, still life, and buildings. In His Eternal Grasp, Carolyn

Thanks for your comment. I enjoyed doing "Bear's" portrait not just because he is under my care but because of all the pretty colors in his coat....... and those blue eyes!
