The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This watercolor painting of the classic, Lycoming-powered 1931 Auburn 8-98 is a new artform for me in that I did not use a fine line ink pen for the black details. About the car, which became the basis that ultimately led to the formation of the Cord Corporation that included Lycoming Manufacturing, Stinson Aircraft, Duesenberg, Cord and more, in spite of the Depression, Auburn achieved success in 1931 as a result of the model 8-98, designed to accolades by Alan Leamy, the two-passenger 1931 Auburn 8-98 Speedster features a vee�d-windscreen, boattail styling and disappearing folding top
