Morning Glories are invading my entire yard!
If you love them, hang them on your wall. Do not plant them! These lovely white ones, which are painted (planted) in watercolor on Arches, cover our doggie kennel and make it very pretty. I tried to paint them as realistically as possible so you won't miss having real ones.
I'm very kind and thoughtful that way.
About Nancy Pahl
My 6th grade teacher and mother decided I should get private art lessons, after something clicked in my brain and I was able to draw as well as an adult. They found Mrs Grinch (seriously) as my teacher for about the next 3 years. I would go to her house a couple of blocks away and watch her paint, while I consumed bowls of cheap licorice candy. The taste of licorice still reminds me of the smell of turpentine and linseed oil. From Mrs Grinch, a very sweet old lady, who looked like Mrs Claus, I learned very traditional and realistic watercolor, oil, and pastel. Mother entered my work in art shows and fairs along side adult artists, where my first paintings were sold. Subject matter was usually her suggestion, so later, when I went to...

Nancy, Gorgeous painting of morning glories. Great details showing them hanging from a vine on a fence. Great colors which show through so clear and crisp. Love the detail on the pedals as they have the white and with a little yellow along how you can see the buds on each morning glory. Great background with the green branches and leaves.
