This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

AURORA, NEVADA Aurora was first settled by J.M. Carey, James M. Brady and E.R. Hicks in the spring of 1860 when they were hunting game and found gold. They organized the camp and named the town. In 1861 California created the new county of Mono and made Aurora the county seat, supposing it was in California. The officers of Mono County moved in. Men began coming from all directions. By the year 1862 Aurora had a city government, two daily newspapers, two fire companies of 60 men each, two military companies with fully equipped armories, two brass bands, blocks of buildings constructed of brick freighted in from Sacramento. Administrative offices of two states held forth, complete with elections, due to the belief that Aurora was divided in half by the state lines of California and Nevada. This division continued until it was discovered that Aurora was in actuality in and belonged to Nevada. In 1864 Aurora had some twenty stores, a dozen hotels and as many more boarding houses and saloo...

Evelyne Boynton Grierson ~ The Painter of Western Ghost Towns 1909 - 1994 The artist, author and "Painter of Western Ghost Towns", Evelyne Boynton Grierson, was born three miles off the shore of California near the town of Walnut Grove in 1909. After the death of her mother, Evelyne was raised by two aunts. Her school years where spent in Los Angeles, where she excelled in the arts. After High School she went to live with her Aunt Kate in Iowa, where she attended college, and continued her education in art. Evelyne was born with the ability to paint. She was an art major at Iowa State university and went on to teach art at Schenectady, NY. Evelyne loved the western desert and painted many desert landscapes along with...
