Great concept of keeping Austin weird! Love that city and hope to be living there soon! Great image LF

Thank you, Pam! Best of luck with your relocation; I hope you can deal with the extreme heat better than I can!

Absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you, Georgia! :-)

What a cool image - you can see whatever you want - to me it looks like momma, the red one on the left, is having a word with papa, the big one on the right, about junior, the blue one in the center who has a eyeball that looks like he's in trouble again. Just a fun piece of work.

A belated 'Thank you!', Roy. I'm glad you see the fun in this, Roy -- once the concept was in my head, nailing down the execution was pure joy. Thanks for visiting and commenting! :-)

This is very cool! v

Artist's Description

Austin Was Not What We Expected Wendy J. St. Christopher Expect the unexpected when visiting Austin. There's a reason the city's motto is "Keep Austin Weird" . . . apparently, more than one reason! Surreal cityscape, glowing with early evening light. From an original photograph taken under The Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge, in Austin, Texas. *NOTE - For this image, the artist suggests FAA's lustrous, Acrylic Print finish (no frame necessary). However, this image is beautiful and long-lasting with your choice of Fine Art America's premium finishes. Explore the attractive custom framing and matting options available on this page; all are competitively priced. If you have any questions about my images or need assistance with sizing, framing, etc., please contact me at or by using the 'Contact' link on my profile page.

My dreams are always in color! Part serious technology geek, part exuberantly creative insomniac. Welcome to my world! As a digital artist and photographer, I create with PC, printer, and/or camera, instead of canvas, paint, and brush. I'm always in hot pursuit of the elusive "Wow!" factor. Thanks, in part, to the boundless marketing potential of the Internet, my art is being collected worldwide, having been shipped to many far-flung locations over the years. (New Zealand being the most distant, Penzance being the most unexpected ... so far!) NOTE: Click on any image for a larger, more detailed view. Museum-quality prints, plus many framing and matting options, are available here! * * * If a little dreaming is dangerous,...
