I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Fall foliage alongside a creek in the mountains of upstate New York - either Kaaterskill Creek or Ten Mile Creek - the photograph that this was done from was taken at one of these two places - unfortunately no one remembers which one!Vines,roots and broken branches dangle over the creek and little mini waterfalls flow down the rocky cliff - after a heavy rain or big snow melt these can become small rushing falls, and in the winter freeze - often appearing as blue ice.

I have been painting and crafting ever since I can remember. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques in watercolor, and mixing watercolor with other mediums. Painting is a meditation to me - it brings me peace and joy.,and has been a healing therapy since I became disabled. I love sharing my art with my grandchildren and inspiring others to try their hand at painting!
