Artist's Description

In Paris' west side, the 16th Arrondisement, on a small street that climbs a hill near the Radio France building, is a cottage where Honore de Balzac lived for a number of years. It is now a museum. Balzac was one of France's literary giants. His study, with writing desk and bust, overlooks a small garden from which, in his day, he could probably look out over most of western Paris. It's a place worth visiting.
