Artist's Description

James Dean was born on February 8, 1931, at the Seven Gables apartment house located at the corner of 4th Street and McClure Street in Marion, Indiana, to Winton Dean and Mildred Wilson. In 1953 he starred in his first major film, East of Eden, and soon followed with Rebel Without a Cause, and Giant. He left footprints on my heart and I will remember him always.
