Artist's Description

The adage "A picture is worth a thousand words" refers to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image. It is my hope that this image does just that. These images of a straitjacket and bed were photographed by me at Aradale Aslyum and J Ward, a prison for the criminally insane, both located in Ararat, Victoria, Australia.
