About Lin Haring
Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it. Confucius Welcome to my website! I've been shooting photos my whole life. Few years ago, I figured I'd better get a camera. Now, we work as a team. It's still about discovery. I'm happy about that. I like to photograph things as I happen upon them. Same goes for people. I don't "stage" life to fit the camera, I use my camera to record the art already there. I'm drawn, although not exclusively, to earth tones, and also (apparently) images of isolation, be it either through a minimalist exploration of an object, or the observation of people, and much of my work includes social commentary. While visual appeal is always my goal, it's my hope that my images also "say"...

Lin, this is truly what it is all about in a sense! I so connect on your level and perspective expressed in your reply to Colleen. This capture is intriguing, interesting to think about and yes...beautiful in its own strange way....love it! V/F
Lin Haring replied:
Thanks so much, Darla! :) "think" and "in its own strange way" are highly appreciated. ;-)

How inventive people can be...and how good we are in finding solutions to our problems with minimal use of present artifacts.....lol....great social photography...
Lin Haring replied:
Indeed, Michel -- we are an innovative, "make do" lot when we need to be. Thank you for your comment! :)
Odd Jeppesen
The art of the everyday. Great find and capture.
Lin Haring replied:
Ah, coming from one who has mastered capturing "the art of the everyday" I'm highly honored by your comment, Odd. :)
