Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A young man probably in the early 1900's who appears entirely too dressed up for the setting. I imagine it is the last day of his summer vacation and he is about to start his first year in college or perhaps working. This painting is part of my nostalgic art series.
About Leah Wiedemer
Leah has been a working artist in Florida since 1989. She began her career working strictly in traditional watercolors, showing and selling at the many fine art festivals in Florida. She then took up wall mural painting with acrylic paints and ran a successful business for ten years. Wiedemer transitioned out of the mural business into soft pastel painting, book illustration, and finally after her first trip to Italy, oil painting.The light and landscape of Italy struck a deep cord in Leah, inspiring her to take up her brushes and try to capture the beauty, essence and charm that continues to draw her back .
