Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Alfred Charles Bernard Lovell (1913-2012), British astronomer and physicist, with the Lovell Telescope named in his honour. Lovell founded the Jodrell Bank Observatory in 1945, in Cheshire, UK, to house his 76-metre Mark 1A telescope (the Lovell Telescope, built from 1957). The Mark 1, the world's first giant dish radio telescope, was later extended as the Mark 1A. Lovell was Director at Jodrell until 1980. Originally a physicist, Lovell worked on cosmic ray studies before World War II, when he helped to develop radar. He was elected Fellow of the Royal Society in 1995, awarded the OBE in 1946, and knighted in 1961. Photographed in 2007, at Jodrell Bank.
