Artist's Description

When bison cows browse for grass under the snow, they push their faces into the snow and swing their heads back and forth, clearing space to the ground so they can eat. You can see the cow in the middle has a ring of snow around her nose. BTW, All adult bison have horns. = This is a composite of several images I took in Yellowstone National Park, digitally enhanced to reflect the weather. ___________________________ NOTE: Greeting Card price shown is for a pack of ten. A pack of 25 is also available. I do not sell single greeting cards. ___________________________ Featured in FAA Groups US Forests and Wilderness Old Masters Photographers and Digital Arts Wildlife One A Day

About Kae Cheatham

Kae Cheatham

I've fiddled with a camera since the early 1970s and began taking rural event and domestic animal pictures in the 1980s. When I was a professional rodeo photographer, one of the rodeo producers asked if I could design/write/produce a program for the upcoming season. He knew I wrote articles for the rodeo magazine and had published books. I said sure, although I had never done anything like that before. = I completed the project, learned a lot in the process, and became enamored of graphic and computer arts. Since then, along with photography, I've produced books and book covers for authors around the U.S. and for my own books, too.
