Artist's Description
Taken in the Winter Gardens in Aberdeen, Scotland, these bizarre flowers with their pale florets and striking stamens have so far eluded my attempts to identify them! The stunning colours compete with their quite alien like shapes, and forgetting that they are flowers one's imagination could believe that you are looking at two marshmallow balls with loads of pairs of scissors sticking in them!

Based in the North East of Scotland, UK I am a photographic artist and creative practitioner. My photographic work includes a lot of macro, abstract and more recently a series of works for an upcoming publication - 'Yesterday's Homes' featuring images of derelict and abandoned homes across Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
