Original was sold at the Live Oak Music Festival in 2005. I created this painting after a trip to the Redwoods in North California. I remember seeing the wondering forested landscape being cut down for lumber. My name is Jennifer McDuffie and I want to tell you who I am and what I paint! I was born in Alaska but moved to the Central coast of Cali at a very early age, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and wildlife. As a child I drew on everything and for everyone. For instance, I drew horses and flowers on napkins for waitresses at restaurants. During high school, at 16 years old I attended our community college to study art. The teachers were very inspiring and helpful even though I was young. I participated in many art and music festivals, galleries and art groups.
