Artist's Description

A vintage wagon on display at Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia on a stormy day; available in traditional fine art photography and painted photograph styles; 0419-21 As I took this photograph and others during this photoshoot, it was raining hard and the lightning was cracking directly overhead. At times, standing out in the open with my metal tripod, I thought for sure lightning would hit me. In addition, I was dealing with a bad knee that made it almost impossible to walk. I continued to take pictures, however, because the drama was so great. Most photographers run and hide from weather like this. And that is the reason I don't. The drama bad weather can add to an image tells a story. This picture would be completely different were it taken on a bright sunny day.
