Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
About Rick Huotari
Professional Artist/Illustrator/Designer His artistic ability was noticed at an early age from his teachers. Rick was predicted to be a professional artist by age 7. Growing up in central Wisconsin, he took part in outdoor activities regularly. His style is realism with a slightly surreal color palette. Each piece favors rocks and water as part of the design due to the appreciation of design and texture and depth. Rick draws inspiration for his style from childhood memories of being in the outdoors and individual studies with Morten Solberg, Mike Capser and Lee Mothes. He works mainly in acrylics and watercolor/goache. He has been juried on the Portal Wisconsin website, numerous northern art shows and individual shows at galleries....

Thank you Rick for your wonderful comment on my calypso reef.. The sad thing about that painting is what dosent showup in a photo is that it is mixed media and most of the shells and coral are real and stuck on .. oh well I must say you are so talented such beautiful work I find all your paintings so soothing and calm great work...Karin
