Description
I created the series of Horizons in 2010 as photographic journey through the landscapes of Wisconsin. I rarely shoot in the same location as the sun rises and find the meadows that most just drive by without a second thought as the best place to wait and watch.

Hello I am new to FAA. I am going to try and do what I read we are trying to do and that is look and comment on each others work, like review and critique. Everything I write is with intent to help you understand what I see and also what I think could improve the piece, or maybe not improve the artwork, because it stands alone and works. I like the sky and the colors there, they are dramatic and pull you into the composition. I am also thinking the foreground could be a little better served if it were in focus, if some are were more clearly defined, to me that would add even more to the depth. It's not that I don't like what is there, I do! I'm also thinking it seems to missing something, and to me is that nice lead in at the bottom as already suggested.

I bought this for my mom, "Bonnie's Meadow" has to be one of the most beautiful photos that I've ever seen. A poetic reflection from a poetic soul, named Phil Koch.
