When I was little, we lived on a farm which had these cattle and I always loved seeing them. I even have a picture of me sitting on the back of one. They were so gentle and patient. Your well done artwork brought back such nice memories!

Hi Belle! Thanks very much. I have a bit of a thing for cows anyway but the Brahman are extra special.

Artist's Description

Photo of brahman cattle in a field in Costa Rica. The brahma bulls are all facing in the same direction, looking stoic. The distinctive humps and horns of the brahmans are clearly visible. An earth-toned painted texture has been added to this photograph that was taken in a farmer's field in the Osa Peninsula. Maybe it's because I'm the daughter of dairy farmers but I've always had a special fondness for cows. These brahman bulls were even more docile than North American cows, probably because it's much hotter in Central America!
