Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This is the painting I just finished today on this rainy and stormy day. It is called "Breakthrough of Hope!". Its message is that though it may look like the light from the sun is gone, it is still always there--ready to break through the stormy clouds! This red day lily, or scarlet colored lily, on the hillside in this painting represents, symbolically, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ! It has broken through the ground from a cool dark place to greet the light of day! That's what Christ did for us, he suffered on the cross to the point of death. He was then buried in a tomb, but the tomb could not hold his spirit down! He arose on the third day to gloriously appear to his beloved disciples for a brief time, before ascending back into heaven to be with the Father of Lights, "in whom there is no shadow of turning!". This is a message of Hope for those, especially, who have had more of the "rain" in their lives, than the sunlight, and could use a bit of encouragement!

Before I had my two children, I worked selling furniture and helping people to decorate their homes--my first passion--interior decorating/design and art! Before I went back to my first passion, I worked for a variety of non-profits and government sponsored programs--including AmeriCorps (domestic version of the PeaceCorps), D.H.S., and the University of TN. Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices!
