Surrounded by the Great Lakes all my life, I have a strong affinity for all things pertaining to water. My parents grew up near this bridge to Canada, and I often cross Detroit's international bridge. Lots of other bridges, large and small. Sadly, trains are almost non-existent! Glad you like this photo, Anne.

I am a bit taken aback by your marine photography...it could be right here in the Pacific Northwest. So many coastal towns and cities have bridges arching high over the water for maritime traffic...and we have trains! Dozens and dozens of them charge up and down the tracks not far behind our house. Beautiful shot Ann!
