Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Metal prints are extremely durable.   They're lightweight.  They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, stained tissue paper, painted newsprint, printed tracing paper, wax pastel crayons, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.

Meaning behind the art: Settling back into the homestead and supplies all put away from this past weekend workshop, I’m thinking about how the teaching of techniques and process is like bringing it the all to the surface. Sharing as much as I can with in the limited time slot of three days a workshop can be so very exciting and on the other side can be so overwhelming… We are expected to bring it all… Teacher and student…so much pressure we put upon ourselves to do a good job…when we finally realize it’s the imperfect parts that make it perfect. Just ask my student’s this past weekend…there were a few moments of blissful imperfections…still Laughing about them.

Bio Laura Lein-Svencner was raised in Downers Grove IL not far from her grandfather’s farm and resides now Darien Illinois for the past 30 years. She’s continued with her personal studies in drawing, printmaking, sculpture, papermaking and collage. Seeking inspiration from one artist to another, Laura has pursued her love of paper; this steady pace of exploration has led her to become a member of many local and international collage groups. She also co-founded the Midwest Collage Society which exhibits throughout the Midwest region. Her works has won many awards and most recently the 27th Annual Juried Exhibit with the National Collage Society.
