About LeeAnn Alexander
Born the middle child of nine children growing up on the island of Trinidad and Tobago, LeeAnn Alexander sought refuge in the world of pencil and paint. Winning an award a few years later for her art, while attending junior high, provided LeeAnn further incentive to continue as she worked mostly with pencil and still life. LeeAnn taught herself to draw portraits and took a drawing and photography class at Kingsborough Community College, while studying Mental Health.
